Dear Friends:

The April 20th auction at The Little Flower Assisted Living was a great success! Thank you to Ms. Deloris Brown, Director, all her staff and the resident, plus our Rose Angels Team for making this so much fun and so successful.

We had a combined auction, which included the Chinese Auction, and the Live auction.

The Chinese Auction apparently was new to those of us that have lived in the South forever and/or born here! The person who suggested this was from New Jersey, and what fun it was!

The Chinese auction is when you buy ‘raffle tickets’ and place the tickets in a container in front of the item that you hope to own. One woman won a $500.00 framed print – by buying a ticket and placing it in that container! Frame Warehouse on Independence Blvd donated this particular print! What a great deal!

The Live Auction is exactly what it says it is. We had 30 items for the Chinese Auction, and 18 items for the Live Auction – plus three gorgeous door prizes! Something for everyone!

Recently, I went into The Little Flower, and someone asked me WHEN we were going to have another auction. My answer is in the Fall – so I hope those of you who were not able to come this time, will come next time and join in the fun!
